Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms are the contract between you and RoleCube. They set out what we provide, what you agree to in return, and how the relationship ends.
Where a clause limits your rights or ours, we say so plainly. Please read sections 14 and 15 in particular. They cover what we do not guarantee and the limits on what we are liable for.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the RoleCube website at rolecube.com, the RoleCube product at app.rolecube.com, and every related service we provide.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Operator | Mohammed Hamdan, trading as RoleCube |
| Contact | info@rolecube.com |
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator named above, an individual trading as RoleCube. “You” means the person using RoleCube. “Service” means everything above.
These terms include our Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and Legal Policy. Where they conflict on a data protection matter, the Privacy Notice prevails.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
2.1 Accepting these terms
You accept these terms by ticking the box that says so when you create your account, which you cannot do without accepting them. If you do not accept them, do not use RoleCube. We record when you accepted and which version of these terms you accepted. That record is your electronic acceptance, and it is legally binding, as recognised by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services.
2.2 Age
You must be at least 18 years old. We check this at sign-up from your date of birth. We may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.
2.3 Capacity
You confirm that you can legally enter into this contract, and that you are not barred from receiving our services under the sanctions or export control laws of the UAE, the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States.
2.4 Where the Service is available
RoleCube is not currently offered to people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. Please do not create an account if you are there. We may close an account we believe belongs to a person there, and delete its data. Elsewhere, we do not promise the Service is lawful or appropriate in every country. You are responsible for complying with your own local laws. We may restrict availability in any country at any time.
3. Your account
- Give accurate, current information when you register, and keep it up to date.
- Your account is personal to you. Do not share, sell or transfer it, or let anyone else use it. One person, one account.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Tell us straight away at security@rolecube.com if you suspect someone else has accessed it.
- You must verify your email address, with a one-time code we send you, before you can use the Service.
- We may refuse to create, or may close, an account that breaches these terms, appears fraudulent, or is created to get around a previous suspension.
4. What RoleCube is, and is not
4.1 What it is
RoleCube is a simulated workplace training product. You work through an authored, fictional multi-day business scenario (reading documents, querying datasets, attending scripted meetings and messaging fictional colleagues) and submit a recommendation. You then receive a structured, partly AI-assisted evaluation of your work against an authored marking rubric.
Each attempt runs from its first day to the report you submit, and it cannot be restarted part-way: you can leave and come back, and your progress is kept. Once you have submitted, you can play the same scenario again as a new attempt, and your earlier attempt and its evaluation stay in your results.
4.2 What it is not
5. Plans, access codes and price
5.1 Price
RoleCube is currently free to use. We do not take payment details, and you cannot be charged.
We may introduce paid plans in future. If we do, we will publish their prices and terms first, tell you before anything changes for you, and you will be charged only if you choose to buy a plan. Nothing you have done in RoleCube will be taken away because you choose not to.
Your rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means, and the mandatory consumer law of your own country are not affected by these terms.
5.2 Plans and limits
Every account is on a plan. While RoleCube is invite-only, it is the plan given by the access code you signed up with. If that plan ends and nothing replaces it, your account moves to a plan with no allowance. You can still sign in and see everything you have already done, but you cannot start new scenarios until you are on a plan again.
A plan can limit what an account may start: how many different scenarios, how many attempts in total, or how many attempts at any one scenario, either altogether or within a repeating period such as a week or a month. Where a limit applies to you:
- it is counted from the attempts recorded on your account, and an attempt counts towards a limit once it has started, whether or not you finished it;
- the product shows it: a scenario you cannot start is marked as locked, with the reason and, where the limit resets, the date;
- it never stops you continuing an attempt you have already started, or reading a result you already have; and
- a limit that resets counts from the day your plan started: a monthly limit on a plan that began on the 7th renews on the 7th of each month, and a weekly one every seven days.
We may change plans and their limits. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you first, as section 21.1 describes.
5.3 Access codes, and beta or promotional access
We may give you a code (for a beta programme, a partnership or a promotion) that puts your account on a particular plan when you enter it. A code:
- is needed to create an account at all while RoleCube is invite-only, and is checked before the account is created;
- is for you. Do not share, sell, publish or trade it (see section 6);
- may be limited in how many times it can be used, may expire, and may be withdrawn if it is misused;
- can currently be entered once, when you sign up, and stays attached to the account that redeemed it;
- gives you the plan it names and nothing more, with no right to a particular scenario, feature or price in future; and
- may put you on a plan with an end date. When it ends, your account moves to a plan with no allowance: you can still sign in and see your results, but you cannot start new scenarios until you are on a plan again. Nothing you have done is deleted when it does.
Beta and preview access is provided on the terms in section 12. If we withdraw a code or end a plan you obtained through one because it was misused, section 13.2 applies.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use RoleCube for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Countering Rumours and Cybercrimes or any equivalent law where you are;
- share, resell, rent or commercially exploit access to the Service, or let anyone else use your account;
- copy, scrape, download, republish or redistribute scenario content, documents, datasets, meeting audio, rubrics or evaluation content, in whole or in part, except sharing your own result card, which we provide for that purpose;
- use automated means (bots, scrapers, headless browsers or scripts) to access, extract or index the Service, other than a search engine following our robots.txt;
- reverse engineer any part of the Service, or try to derive our scoring logic, marking rubrics, answer keys or AI instructions;
- try to extract, manipulate or subvert our AI systems, including through prompt injection or instructing a fictional colleague to ignore its constraints;
- game, falsify or manipulate an evaluation, including by submitting someone else’s work or using automation to produce a submission;
- submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, discriminatory, threatening, or that infringes anyone’s rights;
- submit another person’s personal data, confidential information, trade secrets, or your employer’s proprietary material into any field;
- upload or transmit malware, or try to probe, scan, penetrate, overload or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- get around sign-in, access another user’s account or data, or bypass any usage limit, plan limit or rate limit, including by opening more than one account;
- share, sell, publish or trade an access code, use one you were not given, or try to guess one;
- misrepresent your identity, impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection with any person or organisation;
- use the Service to build, train or benchmark a competing product or an AI model.
Report abuse to security@rolecube.com. We look into every report.
7. AI-generated content
Parts of RoleCube are generated by artificial intelligence:
- Replies from fictional colleagues, in messages and when you ask a question in a meeting, are written by AI working from authored facts. No real person wrote or said them.
- Meeting audio is synthetic speech produced by a text-to-speech model; where that audio is unavailable, your own device’s built-in voice may read the meeting instead. No real person recorded it, and the voices are not those of real people.
- Evaluations combine our own rule-based scoring with an AI assessment of your written reasoning against an authored rubric. The AI writes the reasons for each criterion; it does not set your total on its own.
- AI output can be wrong. It can be inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete or oddly worded. Treat it as training material, never as fact or advice.
- Output is not unique to you. Similar inputs may produce similar output for others, and we make no claim that AI-generated text is original.
- You can ask for a human review. If you think an evaluation was unfair, contact us and a person will look at it.
Where the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) applies, this section and the notices in the product are our disclosure that you are interacting with an AI system and that some content is AI-generated.
8. Your content
8.1 You own it
You own what you write: your report, your recommendation, your messages and meeting questions, and your queries. We do not claim ownership of it.
8.2 The licence you give us
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit, display and process your content only to run the Service for you, produce your evaluation, provide support and comply with the law, including sending it to the providers named in our Privacy Notice for those purposes. The licence lasts as long as we hold the content and ends when it is deleted.
We do not use your content to train AI models, we do not publish it, and we do not license it to anyone else. Our AI provider is different while we use its free service: Google may use what you type in messages, meeting questions and reports to improve its products, and its staff may read it, as described in section 9.4 of our Privacy Notice. Do not put real personal or confidential information into RoleCube. If we ever want to use an anonymised example of a submission for marketing or research, we will ask you first, and you can say no.
8.3 What you promise about your content
You confirm that you have the right to submit it, that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it contains no confidential information belonging to your employer or anyone else and no personal data about other people.
8.4 Moderation
We may review, refuse, remove or restrict content that breaches these terms. We are not obliged to monitor content, and we are not responsible for content you submit.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service and everything in it (the software, design, brand, the RoleCube name and logo, scenario content, documents, datasets, characters, meeting scripts and audio, marking rubrics, answer keys, evaluation logic and AI instructions) is owned by or licensed to us, and protected by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights, UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021 on Trademarks, and equivalent laws internationally.
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own training while your account is in good standing. It gives you no right to copy, distribute, modify, publicly display or commercially exploit any part of it.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. See our Legal Policy for third-party credits and our copyright takedown process.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback about RoleCube, you give us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them for any purpose without owing you anything. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential or want to be paid for.
11. Third-party services
RoleCube runs on infrastructure operated by others, and links to other websites. We are not responsible for other services, their content or their availability, and a link is not an endorsement. The providers we rely on are listed in our Privacy Notice.
12. Availability and changes
- We aim to keep RoleCube available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we offer no service level commitment.
- We may pause the Service for maintenance, security or upgrades. For significant planned interruptions, we will give reasonable notice.
- We may change, add or withdraw features and scenarios.
- Features marked beta, preview or experimental are provided as they are, and may change or disappear without notice.
- We may stop providing the Service entirely. If we do, we will give reasonable notice and, on request, send you a copy of your data before it is deleted.
13. Suspension and termination
13.1 By you
You may stop using RoleCube at any time. To delete your account, email privacy@rolecube.com from the address on your account.
13.2 By us
We may suspend or close your account if:
- you seriously breach these terms, in particular section 6, including by misusing an access code, in which case we may also end the plan it gave you;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, evaluation manipulation, or activity that puts other users or our systems at risk;
- the law requires us to; or
- you are under 18.
Where it is safe and lawful, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. For serious breaches (attacks, illegal content, fraud) we may act immediately. We will tell you what happened and why, and you can appeal by writing to info@rolecube.com.
13.3 What survives
Sections 8.2 (as far as needed for content we still lawfully hold), 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20 and 21 survive the end of this contract, along with any provision that by its nature should.
13.4 Your data afterwards
Ask us for a copy of your data before your account is deleted if you want one. After deletion we handle your data as described in our Privacy Notice, and it cannot be recovered.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties, conditions and representations not stated in these terms, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
In particular, we do not promise that:
- the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
- AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, consistent or suitable for any purpose;
- an evaluation is an objective, reliable or reproducible measure of your ability;
- scenario content reflects real-world business practice, real data, or the law anywhere;
- using RoleCube will lead to any particular learning or career outcome; or
- defects will be corrected.
15. Limitation of liability
15.1 What we never exclude
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15.2 What we exclude
Subject to 15.1, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for:
- indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive or exemplary loss;
- loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, reputation, anticipated savings or contracts;
- loss or corruption of data, other than through our failure to take the security measures described in our Privacy Notice;
- any decision or action you or anyone else takes relying on RoleCube content, AI output, scenario data or an evaluation;
- any employment, academic, financial or business outcome connected to your use of RoleCube; or
- any failure caused by another company’s service, your device or your internet connection.
15.3 Cap on liability
Subject to 15.1, our total liability arising from these terms and your use of the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to USD 100.
15.4 If you are a consumer
If you use RoleCube as a consumer, these limits apply only as far as your local law allows. In the EU and the UK, we remain liable for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach.
15.5 Time limit
Any claim arising from these terms must be brought within one year of when you became aware, or should reasonably have become aware, of the facts behind it, unless the law where you live requires a longer period.
16. Indemnity
If you use RoleCube for business purposes, you agree to cover our losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, content you submit, or your breach of any law or anyone’s rights.
This does not apply to consumers, or to the extent a claim arises from our own breach or negligence. We will tell you promptly about any claim we want to be covered for, and will not settle it without consulting you.
17. Events beyond our control
Neither of us is liable for failure or delay caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, sanctions, strikes, failure of a utility or telecommunications network, internet outage, cyber attack, or the failure of an infrastructure provider. The affected party will tell the other as soon as practical.
18. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect, why, on what legal basis, who processes it and how long we keep it. It forms part of these terms.
19. Complaints and disputes
19.1 Talk to us first
If something has gone wrong, email info@rolecube.com with the details. We will acknowledge within 5 working days and try to resolve it within 30 days.
19.2 If we cannot agree
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, we will each try in good faith to settle it by negotiation before starting proceedings. This does not stop either of us seeking urgent court relief or reporting a matter to a regulator.
19.3 Consumer complaints
If you are a consumer in the UAE, you may complain to the Consumer Protection Department of the UAE Ministry of Economy or your local economic department. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live. Data protection complaints are handled under our Privacy Notice.
19.4 No class actions
As far as the law allows, disputes are resolved individually, not as part of a class, collective or representative action. This does not apply where your local law gives you a right to collective redress, including under Directive (EU) 2020/1828 on representative actions.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
21. General terms
21.1 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For minor changes, we update this page and the date at the top. For material changes, we give you at least 30 days notice by email or in the product before they take effect. If you do not accept a material change, stop using RoleCube and ask us to delete your account. Continuing to use RoleCube after a change takes effect means you accept it.
21.2 Entire agreement
These terms, the Privacy Notice, the Cookie Policy and the Legal Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service, and replace anything said or written before. Nothing here limits liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
21.3 Severability
If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it is removed or narrowed as little as necessary, and the rest continues in force.
21.4 No waiver
If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up and may enforce it later.
21.5 Transfer
You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to an affiliate or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided your rights are not materially reduced.
21.6 No third-party rights
Nobody other than you and us can enforce these terms.
21.7 Notices
We send notices to the email address on your account, so keep it up to date. Send formal legal notices to legal@rolecube.com.
21.8 Language
These terms are written in English. If we publish a translation and they differ, the English version prevails, except where the law where you live requires otherwise, including before the UAE courts, which work from an Arabic version.
21.9 Relationship
Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between us.
